Apink Stylists Draws Criticism Following 'HORN' Teaser Release
Apink's styling for their February comeback "HORN" has garnered mixed opinions among internet users.

On January 26, Apink's agency IST Entertainment released a concept photo for the group's special album "HORN," which will be released on February 14th. The concept photo was shared across all of Apink's social media platforms, and several Korean media outlets wrote reports about the comeback following the release.
In the published photo, all the Apink members are wearing matching hot pink dresses. As they are releasing "HORN" on Valentine's Day, they are most likely wearing pink to symbolize the day of love.

Though each member wore different styles of dresses, they all matched with the vibrant color, showing off their individuality but still being tied together as a group. The members each flaunted their unique styles as if they were invited to a special party.
However, as soon as the concept photo was released, internet users expressed their disappointment in the styling.

Although the members looked beautiful, many criticized the outfits of some members, such as Park Chorong and Jung Eunji, as being outdated. People claimed their outfits made them look unfashionable and old.

In particular, Jung Eunji's dress is a few shades darker than the other members', so she ends up standing out in an unflattering way.
People also claimed that though they had good intentions by dressing up the members in pink to match their group name, Apink, their outfits made them feel more like a trot group than a K-pop idol girl group.

However, some people defended the stylists, saying that they liked the unique concepts. Others claimed the members all looked like dolls with their outfits, and the reason the concept photo looks strange is due to the background and the quality of the images rather than the stylists.

In December 2021, IST Entertainment announced that Apink would be making their comeback in February 2022. Apink is scheduled to release their special album, "HORN," on February 14, 2022, alongside its lead single "Dilemma." The special album will be released to commemorate the group's tenth anniversary.
