Heo Chanmi, a former member of Coed School and F-ve dolls narrated what she felt during her time in SM Entertainment as a trainee.

"There was an online cafe for SM trainees. There are fans gathered in front of SM, and while the trainees were taking fingerprints at the entrance of the building (to go to the practice room), I would answer when some fans asked me this or that," she recalled.

However, she was surprised when she saw postings about her in the online cafe discussing how she walks, posts like, "Heo Chanmi has four things when walking."

"When I saw that, I always tried to walk nicely and raised the corners of my mouth not to look like I'm giving a cold impression," she confessed, causing regret.

During the interview, Chanmi also mentioned how she almost became an SNSD member and hinted at why she wasn't able to.

"I joined SM as a trainee when I was just 14 years old. My sisters (older trainees) had already practiced for five to seven years, and I had just entered, so I was under a lot of pressure. I felt like I was harming them because I lacked skills," she said.

In particular, she joined SM in 2004 and trained as the supposedly 10th member of the Girls' Generation. However, she didn't make it in the final cut and left SM due to her age.

Since then, Heo Chanmi built her career under Core Contents Media and has worked under idol group Coed School and its sub-unit F-ve Dolls.

When she debuted as a K-pop idol in 2010, Chanmi revealed how SNSD reacted.

"At that time, I was very happy to see Girls' Generation and our activities overlapped. Girls' Generation unnies said that they missed me a lot and congratulated me when they saw me," Chanmi revealed, attesting their close relationship even after leaving the agency.

On the other hand, Heo Chanmi, who has been through several debuts and survival programs, confessed that she thought she was lacking, but looking at that time, she also believed that she worked hard.

"Thinking like that, I gained self-esteem and was not afraid of the challenge. The rough process has become my asset."
