BTS Jungkook's 'Stay Alive' Becomes Korean Solo OST With All Top 3 Biggest Weekly Streams on Spotify Global
Since it was released on Feb. 15, "Stay Alive" from BTS' "7Fates: CHAKHO" has been ranking on Spotify's Global Weekly Chart and recording the highest streams among Korean solo OSTs.
On the Spotify Global Chart for the week of Feb. 27 to March 5, the webtoon OST marked its third consecutive week at No. 1. It ranked first after accumulating a total of 8.1 million streams, the third-biggest weekly streams for an OST by a Korean soloist of all time.

BTS Jungkook's "Stay Alive" now owns all the Top 3 biggest weekly streams for an OST by a Korean soloist on Spotify Global. The song previously recorded 18.8 million streams in its first week and 10.3 million streams in its second week.
While "Stay Alive" claimed all the Top 3, BTS V's "Christmas Tree" has the fourth-biggest weekly streams of more than 7.8 million, and BTS Jin's "Yours" has the fifth-highest weekly streams with 5.5 million.

In addition to this, the "7Fates: CHAKHO" OST has now secured three spots in the Top 10 biggest weekly streams on Spotify for songs by K-pop male soloists: No. 1, No. 3, and No. 8.
The rest of the songs on the list are (2) "Girl of My Dreams" with 14.4 million streams [1st week], (4) "Old Town Road" with 9.9 million streams, (5) "Girl of My Dreams" with 9.2 million streams [2nd week], (6) "Daechwita" with 8.9 million streams, (7) "Eight" with 8.7 million streams, (9) "Christmas Tree" with 7.8 million streams, and "Chicken Noodle Soup" with 5.9 million streams.

BTS Jungkook Joins The Weeknd as Only Artists to Achieve THIS on Spotify Global This 2022
In other news, BTS Jungkook has matched an impressive feat that only The Weeknd has attained this year among artists.
On March 6, Chart Data announced the Top 5 biggest song debuts on Spotify's global chart in 2022. While the first four spots are held by The Weeknd's songs, the fifth place goes to BTS Jungkook's "Stay Alive" with more than 4.27 million streams.

Notably, Jungkook joins The Weeknd as the only act this 2022 to earn the biggest song debuts in the Top 5 of Spotify Global. The two are also the only singers with over four million streams in at least one song this year, so far.
Moreover, "Stay Alive" earned the title of the song by an Asian soloist to have the biggest song debut in the history of Spotify Global.
On March 7, BTS Jungkook has surpassed 6.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify in 23 days with just the webtoon OST. He went on to reach 6.67 million listeners as of writing, extending his record as the Korean soloist with the No. 1 highest number of monthly listeners.
