aespa Winter and Ningning to Make OST Debut with tvN Drama 'Our Blues'

On March 25 KST, broadcasting officials reported that aespa members Winter and Ningning are set to lend their voices for the upcoming tvN Saturday-Sunday drama "Our Blues."

The tvN drama will revolve around the sweet and bitter lives of people who are standing at the end, the climax, or beginning of their lives in Jeju Island. It will depict their stories in an omnibus format.

Further details regarding the song Winter and Ningning will sing for the drama have yet to be revealed. This OST will mark the aespa members' first time singing for a drama since their debut back in November 2020.

Aside from Winter and Ninging, it was also reported that BTS member Jimin will also be lending his voice for the drama's official soundtrack.

Meanwhile, "Our Blues" is written by Noh Hee Kyung, who is known for her works such as "It's Okay, That's Love," "That Winter, the Wind Blows," "Live," and "Dear My Friends," among others. Also, it is directed by Kim Kyu Tae.

The drama is set to premiere this coming April 9 KST.

In other news, Winter's fancam video for "Step Back" has set a new record to become the most viewed fancam video among fourth generation idols in history. It was uploaded by Youtube channel M2 during her promotions as a member of SM Entertainmet's supergroup GOT The Beat.

With that, Winter's "Step Back" fancam, which currently has more than 11.7 million views as of writing, has surpassed ITZY member Ryujin's fancam for their song "WANNABE."

In addition, her "Step Back" fancam also became the fastest fancam video by a female K-Pop idol to reach the milestone. It hits the mark in just 23 days from its release and surpassing the previous record held by EXID's Hani and BLACKPINK's Lisa.

Not only that, Winter's video is the only fancam by an SM Entertainment artist to have more than 10 million views.
