Oh My Girl Yubin Gets Surprised by Messages from Foreign Fans Sometimes - Here's Why
On April 14, the private messages that Oh My Girl member Yubin (formerly known as Binnie) sent through the fandom platform UNIVERSE were shared on the online community Theqoo and are garnering lots of attention from netizens and fans.
Yubin stated, "Sometimes I am surprised when I read messages [from fans]. International Miracles also sent me messages, and with the help of a translator, I learned that they ask something like, 'What are you doing?" but there were times when they are translated to 'What the hell are you doing?'"

The "Nonstop" singer added, "At first, I misunderstood it. I thought that it's just because of the text, but now that I know it's because of the translator, I find it cute. There was a fan that sent [the message], 'Think about it a little.' But it seems to be saying, 'Think of my body.' It's cute and funny."
Many netizens left comments after they found Oh My Girl Yubin's story hilarious. They left comments such as, "The automatic translator is really funny," "Foreign fans would be embarrassed when they find out about this," "This is so cute, but I think I'd be embarrassed when I first read these messages," and "They sound like they are going to have a fight with her."

Oh My Girl Yubin's Recent Activities
This past March, Yubin participated in Oh My Girl's comeback with their second studio album "Real Love," which came out on the 28th.
Two months before the full-length album was released, Yubin was diagnosed with COVID-19. She is the first Oh My Girl member to test positive for the virus.

"Real Love" is the girl group's first studio album in three years since "The Fifth Season," consisting 10 songs including the title song "Real Love."
About the album, YooA commented, "Other than Oh My Girl's bright and bubbly image, I think this is an album that shows our strong and mature side."
Mimi defined their title song "Real Love" as a track that "captures the moment you fall in love, when everything in the world looks unfamiliar."
Yubin shared, "because of the easy melody, it got stuck in my head. I thought that if we performed this music, we would express it really well."

Shortly after "Real Love" came out on March 28 at 6 p.m. KST, the title song debuted on various Korean music charts. It ranked No. 1 on Bugs, No. 14 on Genie, and No. 44 on MelOn.
When it comes to sales, Oh My Girl's "Real Love" sold a total of 54,618 copies in the first week. The figure is more than 40,000 copies compared to the sales of their first studio album "The Fifth Season," which sold only 10,390 copies.
"Real Love" is also their second best-selling album to date, following "Dear OHMYGIRL" which had over 69,000 first-week sales.
