On April 17, Korean media outlet Insight reported about IVE Liz's supposed weight gain. In particular, the speculations started when the main vocalist promoted their new track, "Love Dive," released on April 5, and appeared with seemingly chubby cheeks.

On April 15, the representative girl group of the 4th generation performed in KBS2's "Music Bank."

People emphasized Liz gained weight. While idols who got chubbier usually received a negative response from the public due to body stereotypes and standards, the young idol gained praise instead.

According to fans, the "ELEVEN" singer's cute cheek fat doubled her cuteness and young appearance. Her fair skin and bright eyes also added to her lovely charm. Although Liz gained cheek fats, her trademark dimple still seems to be deeply established.

Some of the comments are:

"Liz is cuter now."

"She's like a squirrel."

"I want to pinch her cheeks."

"She became healthier, she's so skinny before."

Most pointed out they prefer Liz's current appearance and attested the idol that it suits her.
