We have now entered the first week of May 2022, and a ton of new songs have been released this past week. With several new songs and news released each day, it might be a bit difficult to try to keep up to date with our favorite K-Pop idols. With that, here is a rundown of some of the K-Pop songs and trending news that were released from April 28 to May 4.
Comebacks and Debuts
MAMAMOO Moonbyul - 'C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)'
On April 28, MAMAMOO's rapper Moonbyul released her second single album called "C.I.T.T (Cheese in the Trap)," which contains her lead single of the same name and "My Moon."
DKB - 'Sober'
Brave Entertainment's nine-piece boy group, DKB, made their comeback with their fourth mini album "Rebel," led by the title track "Sober" on April 28.
PSY - 'That That (prod & feat. BTS Suga)'
On April 29, "Gangnam Style" hitmaker PSY made his highly-awaited comeback with the release of his ninth studio album "PSY 9th." The album is his first album release in five years. It contains the lead track "That That," which is produced and featured by BTS member Suga!
LE SSERAFIM - 'FEARLESS'
HYBE and Source Music's highly-anticipated girl group, LE SSERAFIM, made their debut on May 2 with the single "FEARLESS," which is part of the group's debut mini album of the same name. LE SSERAFIM features two former members of IZ*ONE, Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chaewon.
iKON - 'But You'
On May 3, YG Entertainment boy group iKON returned with their new single "But You," as part of their fourth mini album "FLASHBACK." This is the group's first comeback in over a year.
PSY - 'Celeb'
As part of his ninth studio album, PSY dropped the music video for his song "Celeb," which stars former miss A member, Suzy!
