(G)I-DLE Soyeon Reveals the Real Reason Why She Wears 25cm Heels
Recently, (G)I-DLE's rapper and leader Soyeon made a guest appearance on the May 4 episode of MBC's popular talk show, "Radio Star."
In this special episode, featuring "The People of Performance," Soyeon is joined by PSY, Sung Si Kyung, and Lee Seung Yoon as guests.
On this day, Soyeon was asked to pick something that she could never give up when she is performing on stage. To this, the "TOMBOY" hitmaker responded by revealing it is her heels, which are 25cm (around 9.8 inches) high. She then shows off her heels, saying, "I am wearing [the shoes] this high."
Seeing her heels, host and comedian Ahn Young Mi expressed her surprise at how high it is, and said, "I don't think even Seo In Young wore heels this high either."

Soyeon then explained the reason why she wears such killer high heels, revealing that it is a way for her to boost her confidence.
"It is important to be high no matter what. To be able to gain confidence you have to look down on people," Soyeon explained.
The (G)I-DLE member added, "There is a 10cm difference between the members and I, so I have to wear these killer heels to get the same height as them."
Soyeon is around 157cm (5'2"), and is currently the shortest member in the group. While the tallest member as of now is Minnie, who stands at 167cm (5'6") tall.
Meanwhile, Soyeon also shared her "three-stage transformation" before she goes on stage to perform. First, she puts on a charismatic expression and raise her temple, second is "imagining something bad," and lastly, she tries to walk in a straight line.

(G)I-DLE's 'TOMBOY' Music Video Hits 100 Million Views
In other news, the music video for (G)I-DLE's "TOMBOY" had exceeded 100 million views on Youtube back on April 30.
"TOMBOY," which is the title track of the group's first studio album "I Never Die," was released back on March 14 of this year. This means that it took around one month and 16 days to achieve this feat.

In fact, the music video already surpassed 10 million views just 16 hours after its release, which already showed great popularity among international fans. And by April 5, it reached 80 million views.
This also means that "TOMBOY" is the sixth music video by the group to have more than 100 million views.
As of writing, the music video has over 103 million views.
