TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" has recorded an outstanding first-day sales figure that only one K-pop group has achieved in the past.

TXT's 'minisode 2: Thursday's Child' Scores Impressive 1st Dales in K-pop History
On May 9, TXT finally returned to the K-pop music scene with their fourth mini-album "minisode 2: Thursday's Child." This album is made up of a total of five new songs, one of which the title track "Good Boy Gone Bad."
On the same day, TXT's new album began to sell copies all over the world, and it was revealed that the sales have surpassed 900,000.

To be precise, the first-day sales of TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" on the Hanteo Chart reached 918,413 copies - breaking the group's own record by selling over 600,000 copies more. The quintet's previous highest first-day sales figure was 294,991 copies sold by their repackaged album "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE" in August of last year.
Other than setting a new personal record, TOMORROW X TOGETHER has also made history with regard to first-day sales among Korean artists.
In particular, TXT is now the only second K-pop group to surpass 900,000 sales on the first day on Hanteo, following their senior group BTS. They are also now the third Korean artist to ever achieve the feat after BTS and trot singer Lim Young Woong.

With 918,413 copies sold, TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" has landed on the No. 6 spot in the top 100 highest first-day sales among Korean acts in history. The mini-album surpassed SEVENTEEN's "Your Choice" (which only sold 881,788 copies) and now trails behind four BTS albums and one album by Lim Young Woong.
Furthermore, "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" is now the album by a K-pop group released in 2022 with the highest first-day sales on Hanteo. It broke the previous record of 703,700 copies sold by NCT Dream's "Glitch Mode" on March 28.

In other news, TXT's new album is ruling at No. 1 on iTunes charts all over the world.
As of 7:35 a.m. KST on May 10, "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Album charts in a total of 46 countries, including the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Greece, Finland, Belgium, Italy, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Mexico, Lithuania, Hong Kong, and more.
The mini-album is also charting in other countries like Canada, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, South Africa, El Salvador, Egypt, Armenia, Ireland, and others.

Moreover, TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" debuted at No. 1 on both the Worldwide iTunes Album and European iTunes Album charts at the same time.
The mini-album's title track "Good Boy Gone Bad" has also landed at No. 1 on iTunes Song charts in countries around the globe, such as Argentina, Paraguay, Sri Lanka, Bolivia, Honduras, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Nepal, Oman, and more.
"Good Boy Gone Bad" even managed to enter at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and No. 8 on the European iTunes Song Chart.
