TXT is now the fourth K-pop artist with the highest first-week sales on the Hanteo Chart in history!
'minisode 2: Thursday's Child' Makes TXT 4th Artist With Highest 1st-Week Sales in Hanteo History
On May 9, TXT officially dropped their new mini-album titled "minisode 2: Thursday's Child." This EP features the title song "Good Boys Gone Bad."
On May 10, the album sales of "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" surpassed one million in less than two days, making TXT the second-fastest K-pop artist in Hanteo history to do so following BTS.
On May 16, Hanteo reported that in the first week of release, TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" sold a whopping amount of 1,248,370 copies - almost twice higher than their previous first-week sales figure of 630,563 copies sold by their 2021 album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE."

With this new milestone, TXT has landed on the No. 4 spot on the list of best-selling artists in the first week in Hanteo history. The quintet now follows BTS, NCT Dream, and SEVENTEEN. Based on Hanteo Chart's calculations, no other K-pop group besides these four aforementioned acts has exceeded one million sales within the first week, so far.
Furthermore, TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" is now the K-pop album with the eighth-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history - bested only by BTS's "Map of the Soul: 7," "BE," "Map of the Soul: Persona," and "Butter," NCT DREAM's "Glitch Mode," and SEVENTEEN's "Your Choice" and "Attacca."

Aside from setting a new record for the eighth-highest first-week sales, the five-track mini-album has also broken the sixth-highest first-day sales in Hanteo history. It sold a total of 918,413 copies on May 9, surpassing SEVENTEEN's "Your Choice," which only sold 881,788 copies on June 18, 2021.

TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" Dominates Top Spots on iTunes Charts
In related news, TXT's new mini-album was soaring high on iTunes charts around the globe right after its release.
On May 10 at 8 a.m. KST, "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" had reached No. 1 on iTunes Album charts in a total of 43 different countries, including the United Kingdom, Japan, and Brazil. The EP also ranked No. 2 on iTunes Album charts in the United States and Canada, showing their strong popularity.
What's more, TXT's "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" debuted at No. 1 on both the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and the European iTunes Album Chart.

Meanwhile, the title track "Good Boys Gone Bad" ranked first on iTunes Song charts in at least 19 regions, and its music video has been receiving positive responses from fans, exceeding five million views just after 12 hours of its release.
In South Korea, the song debuted on several real-time charts, entering at No. 4 on Bugs, No. 64 on MelOn, and No. 78 on Genie at 7 p.m. KST on May 9. It went on to land on Bugs' daily chart at No. 10 - the highest position of the group on the tally to date.
As of this writing, TXT's "Good Boys Gone Bad" music video has now reached 19 million views.
