HYBE Applies for New Boy Group's Potential Group Name
For the past months, fans have eagerly been waiting for the debut of HYBE's upcoming new boy group, temporarily known as Trainee A. While the seven members of the group have already been revealed by the label, HYBE has yet to announce the official name of the group.
However, fans have begun to speculate Trainee A's official group name, after fans have spotted the label applying for trademark rights this month.
On May 22, a post on the popular online community forum The Qoo, which has since then garnered over 60,800 views in the last 24 hours, is continuing to garner attention after a speculation on the group name of HYBE's upcoming boy group was made.
In the post, it revealed that HYBE, through Big Hit Music and Big Hit Entertainment, have applied for trademark rights over the name "ALONERS ASSOCIATION" with multiple applications.
According to the post shared, HYBE had applied for the trademark rights of "ALONRS ASSOCIATION" way back in July 2020, which have since then been approved and are currently active. While those that the label had applied for in December of 2021 are still pending and being reviewed.
Many netizens believe that "ALONERS ASSOCIATION" is highly likely to be the group name of their upcoming boy group.

Meanwhile, the group, who is temporarily known as Trainee A, have been interacting and staying connected with fans through their social media account and official Youtube channel, where they post various videos of themselves and showcase their talents.

More About the Members of Trainee A
Currently, Trainee A consists of seven members: Leo, Sangwon, Jihoon, James, Woochan, JJ, and Yorch.
Yorch was born in 2002, making him the oldest member of the group. He is Thai and worked in Thailand as an actor and model, but traveled to South Korea to pursue his dreams of being a K-Pop idol. After auditioning and working as a trainee for several labels, he settled in HYBE.
Leo was also born in 2002, and is speculated to be the group's dancer, rapper, and vocalist. He also appeared in the music video of BTS' song "Permission to Dance."
Born in 2003, Sangwon has been a trainee at HYBE for seven years after joining back in 2016.
Woochan was born in 2005, and had competed on the popular survival show "Show Me The Money." He later became a trainee, and was the last to join Trainee A.

Prior to moving to South Korea, James, who was born in 2005, was an ice hockey player. Despite learning how to dance late, he was able to develop his skills and become good at dancing.
JJ was born in 2006 and had been a dance prodigy since he was seven years old, having won numerous awards growing up. With his skills, he is expected to be the main dancer of the group with a specialty in locking.
Lastly, Jihoon is the youngest member of the group as he was also born in 2006. According to Jihoon, he learned how to dance from PROWDMON's Monika, who competed on Mnet's "Street Woman Fighter."
