Kris Wu's Social Media Accounts Deleted
On the evening of May 21, people discovered that the Facebook and Twitter accounts of Kris Wu had changed their profile pictures. Some also state that the idol was online on Instagram. The YouTube channel of Kris Wu also had activity, with some songs being added to playlists.

The sudden activity on social networks immediately attracted attention online.
Fans of the former EXO member considered this a sign that the idol was going to return to the entertainment industry following his sexual assault and harassment allegations. Others speculated that the male idol-actor was able to turn the situation around and was quietly released from jail.

However, on May 22, Kris Wu's Facebook and Twitter accounts were suddenly deleted. These shocked and confused internet users, leaving people wondering what was happening. Soon, the news of Kris Wu changing his profile pictures only to delete his account spread online.
Many believe that both actions were done by Kris Wu's staff and not the idol. However, some still support the male idol and think he was released on bail after being arrested.

Despite the overpouring questions concerning the current situation of Kris Wu, Chinese authorities have not updated the public about his case.
Kris Wu Arrested for Alleged Sexual Harassment Case
In July 2021, 19-year-old college student Du Meizhu took to Weibo to accuse Kris Wu of a pattern of sexual assault with several women, some underage, while under the influence of alcohol.

She claimed Kris Wu assaulted her while intoxicated in December 2020, when she was 18 years old. She claimed she was speaking up for at least seven other victims, two being minors.
Kris Wu denied the allegations. The crimes are currently under investigation by the Beijing Public Security Bureau and other legal authorities. Several companies cut ties with Kris Wu after the allegations, such as Bulgari and Lancome.

Police detained Kris Wu in Beijing in July 2021. Then, in August 2021, the idol-actor was formally arrested in August 2021 on suspicion of rape.
Following his arrest, the authorities have not given an update about the idol's court dates and final sentencing. Kris Wu's current whereabouts and future activities are unknown.
