1. BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK debuted on August 8, 2016, under YG Entertainment.

During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the group explains how BLACKPINK are two colors that represent them the most. This is because they are very girly (pink) but are also very savage (black).
2. PURPLE KISS
PURPLE KISS debuted on March 15, 2021, under RBW.
PURPLE KISS's name comes from the idea that "purple" is a color made of more than one color, showing the diverse personalities of each member and their musical color. Purple symbolizes the members' harmony, while kiss represents love.

Overall, PURPLE KISS's name is a message that conveys love through various colors of music.
3. Golden Child
Golden Child debuted on August 28, 2017, under Woollim Entertainment.

Gold is a mineral that cannot help but flash and shine, which is similar to the members of Golden Child, who always perform with unrelenting energy. Golden Child fully encapsulates the unique cool vibes of all the group members.
4. Red Velvet
Red Velvet debuted on August 1, 2014, under SM Entertainment.

Red Velvet's name represents their concert and their two images. "Red" is the bold and bright image, while "Velvet" refers to their toned-down, classy side.
5. Pink Fantasy
Pink Fantasy debuted on October 24, 2018, under MyDoll Entertainment.

The group has never explained the meaning of their name. They gained fame due to member Daewang, whose real identity is unknown. She hides her face with a bunny mask and has yet to be revealed.
6. REDSQUARE
REDSQUARE debuted on May 19, 2020, formed by About Entertainment and managed by ICONIC Music & Entertainment.

Similar to Pink Fantasy, they did not explain the meaning of the group name. However, each member has their own unique color and even has a member named after a color - Green!
7. Apink
Apink debuted on April 19, 2011, under IST Entertainment (formerly known as Play M Entertainment, A Cube Entertainment, and Plan A Entertainment).

Apink's name combined the A in A Cube Entertainment and the color pink. Pink is meant to represent women.
