Where is SISTAR Now? Latest Activities of Former 'Summer Queens'

In June 2010, Starship Entertainment debuted the four-member girl group SISTAR. However, after seven years of promoting together, the members announced their disbandment in June 2017. Their disbandment made headlines as it was regarded as one of the "cleanest" disbandments in the industry, with the members mutually making the decision on a good note.

During promotions, SISTAR was dubbed as the "Summer Queens" after releasing numerous hits, such as "Touch My Body," "Shake It," "I Like That," and more. Now that it's been five years since their disbandment, what are the members, Hyolyn, Dasom, Soyou, and Bora doing now?

Following Hyolyn's departure from Starship Entertainment, she launched her own label called Bridʒ (pronounced Bridge). She began focusing more on her solo career, releasing her own music, collaborating with other artists, and lending her voice to drama soundtracks.

So far, after SISTAR's disbandment, Hyolyn has released one mini album, "Say My Name," in August 2020. She also released several non-album singles through the years, such as "To Do List," "Youknowbetter," "Hug Me Silently," "To Find a Reason," "A-Ha," and her more recent song "Layin' Low" released this year.
