Stray Kids Bang Chan Receives Surgery for His Nose - Here's What Happened
On June 5, Bang Chan held his weekly "Chan's Room" broadcast on Naver's V Live, and at the beginning of his livestream, he shared that he had undergone sinus surgery earlier that day.
Speaking in both Korean and English, Stray Kids' leader said, "You guys know that I have a really, really, really serious sinus problem."
He then detailed that his left nostril is okay, but his right one is "so tight." "So there's a really big difference when I breathe in air," he stated.

The "MANIAC" singer continued that he can ignore this kind of situation when he's awake but he struggles when he's asleep. "There's been a couple of times when I would wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air," he revealed.
Stray Kids Bang Chan thought it was dangerous for him, so he decided to get it fixed.
"Last year, I got the same operation done as well. So I thought I might have to do it again, because they did say back then, 'Once you do it, it's going to grow back anyway, so if it does grow back, come back,'" he said. "So I thought it might be a good time to go [get the procedure done]."
"So I went, and I had like a mini operation, mini-surgery," he went on to say. "I had to go to sleep, they put me to sleep... and it hasn't been a while since I've woken up, so I might seem a little out of energy."

Bang Chan also revealed that he was worried about the chances of having to receive a more invasive surgery if his recent operation didn't result in something good.
He explained, "One thing I'm just a bit worried about is that the doctor did say, 'We're going to do it again, but looking at your nose right now, we're not sure if this is going to fix everything. We'll do a little surgery now, and then we'll see how it goes.'"
The doctor further told him that if his nose gets better, then that's a good thing, but if nothing changes, they might need to fix his nose in general.
But Stray Kids Bang Chan reassured the fans that he's doing fine and that they don't need to worry too much. "I think we have to observe it for a moment, but other than that, it should be okay," he concluded.
Wishing Bang Chan a speedy recovery!
