STAYC Comeback July 2022: Here's What the Group Has Completed To Date
On June 30, Daily Sports issued an exclusive report stating that STAYC will be one of the K-pop artists to make a summer comeback this year. They added that High Up Entertainment's group would return to the music scene in July with a new album.
The media outlet continued that STAYC is currently busy preparing for their comeback. So far, the sextet has completed both recording of songs and filming the music video for their new title track. They are now working on a specific comeback schedule.

This year, STAYC dropped their second extended play "YOUNG-LUV.COM," which features the title song "RUN2U," in February. If their July comeback is confirmed later on, it would mark the group's first music release in five months.
Since their debut in November 2020, High Up Entertainment's group has been attracting attention as one of the top fourth-generation K-pop girl groups. They have released hit songs such as "ASAP" and "STEREOTYPE." They have also shown unique charms and high-quality stages since their launch.
For STAYC's July comeback, the members are expected to make their presence felt more in the global market through promotions for their new album and potential tours in the future.

Following their new release next month, the sextet will head to the United States for the KCON 2022 USA Tour, which will take place from Aug. 22 to Sept. 1.
Throughout the tour, STAYC, along with CRAVITY, LIGHTSUM, and TO1, will perform in six different cities: San Francisco, Minneapolis, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, and New York for two days each. While LIGHTSUM and CRAVITY will perform on the first night of each stop, STAYC and TO1 will take the stage together on the second night.
Meanwhile, High Up Entertainment has not released an official statement yet regarding STAYC's comeback in July.

STAYC's Achievements With Their Latest EP "YOUNG-LUV.COM," "RUN2U"
As mentioned above, STAYC made a comeback this past February with a new EP, entitled "YOUNG-LUV.COM." This mini-album marked the group's return in five months since dropping their first EP "STEREOTYPE" in September of last year.
For the week of Feb. 20 to 26, "YOUNG-LUV.COM" debuted straight to the top of Gaon's album chart, becoming the sextet's first-ever No. 1 album in Korea. The EP also made it to the monthly album chart for February, taking the No. 2 spot with 212,211 copies.
In Japan, "YOUNG-LUV.COM" entered at No. 44 on the Oricon Album Chart dated March 14, and landed at No. 23 on Billboard Japan's Hot Albums chart.

Meanwhile, STAYC took home several music show trophies for the EP's title song "RUN2U." They first won on the March 1 episode of SBS MTV's "The Show," and went on to take home trophies until March 17 on Mnet's "M Countdown." They bagged a total of seven music show trophies for "RUN2U"-becoming the group's most wins in their career, thus far.
On YouTube, STAYC's "RUN2U" music video became the sextet's fastest MV to reach 10 million views, doing so in only one day and four hours. This beat their personal record of two days and three hours; which was set by their previous song "STEREOTYPE."
"RUN2U" is also now the girl group's fastest MV to hit 30 million views, achieving the mark in only ten days and nine hours. This surpassed their previous best record of 21 days and 11 hours set by "STEREOTYPE."
