fromis_9's "from our Memento Box" Achieves Group's New Highest 1st-Week Sales
On June 27, fromis_9 made a comeback with their fifth mini-album, "from our Memento Box." The EP contains the title track "Stay This Way" and four other songs.
According to Hanteo Chart, "from our Memento Box" sold 80,656 copies on the first day alone, setting a new record for fromis_9's first-day sales. This record was previously held by the group's fourth mini-album "Midnight Guest," which sold 49,712 copies on Jan. 17 of this year.

Hanteo further announced that fromis_9's new album surpassed 107,000 copies from June 27 to 29, managing to break the group's previous first-week sales record of 104,438 copies (set by "Midnight Guest" as well) within just its three days of sales.
"from our Memento Box" then wrapped up its first week (June 27 to July 3) with a total of 138,170 copies sold on Hanteo.
Since their debut back in 2018, fromis_9 has been seeing a steady rise in terms of their album sales. This only shows the consistent growth of the group's popularity.

In addition to impressive album sales, the fifth mini-album also shone on various global charts. It ranked in the top 10 in at least 11 different countries, including Finland, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, New Zealand, Japan, and more.
Moreover, fromis_9's "from our Memento Box" debuted at No. 10 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and remained on the list for four consecutive days.
Meanwhile, the title track "Stay This Way" entered No. 160 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart. On domestic music charts, the song and the B-side tracks dominated the first and fifth places on Bugs' real-time and daily charts on the 27th. "Stay This Way" even topped Japan's Rakuten Music's real-time chart for six days.

fromis_9 Show Their Love for THIS SM Artist on "Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope"
In other news, fromis_9 appeared on the June 30 broadcast of MBC FM4U's radio show "Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope," where the members expressed their love for a particular SM artist.
DJ Kim Shin Young said on that day, "I saw fromis_9's cover performance on 'Music Bank.' You guys did so well." Kim was pertaining to the girl group's cover of Red Velvet's "Feel My Rhythm" on KBS's "Music Bank" on June 24.
When asked about their preparations for the performance, Jiheon responded that they had only two days of practice. She added that she's a fan of Red Velvet. "I prepared while thinking to myself that I must do well," she said.

Kim Shin Young then asked Jisun and Gyuri, who could not join the cover performance, what song they would like to cover. Jisun replied, "I think fans want us to do something we haven't tried before. I don't mind what it is. I opened my possibilities to all things."
Gyuri added that she wants to cover Red Velvet songs again. She explained, "I like cute songs, but I also want to challenge myself to do concepts like 'Psycho.'" To this, the rest of the fromis_9 members agreed.
