Noze's Agency Initially Refutes Claims of Discriminating Against Smaller Brands
Recently on June 4, former "Street Woman Fighter" star Noze was accused of not upholding the agreed-upon time frame of when she uploads sponsored posts for smaller brands on her Instagram account.
Several smaller brands had spoken to media outlet Wikitree, all of whom gave similar experiences with the dancer. According to them, they had to reach out to Noze numerous times and pleaded for her to upload the sponsored posts on the agreed date.
However, Noze only did so past the agreed date, and soon after deleted the sponsored post.
Soon after the issue was brought to light, Noze's agency Starting House denied the claims and stated that the posts were uploaded within the agreed time frame.
Starting House initially said:
"It is not true that Noze acts differently depending on the brand's size when making social media post and that she is getting paid 30 million KRW to 50 million KRW per post. Regarding the schedule of posts, we first confirm the agreed dates and relay that to our artists. She has been updating her social media with the posts within those dates. And the artist discussed deleting the sponsored posts with us before taking them down."

Despite that, Noze drew criticism and netizens expressed their disappointment at the fan-favorite dancer for discriminating against smaller brands. Not only that, but her failure to upload the sponsored posts on the scheduled date ultimately affected the marketing strategies of these brands negatively.
Noze Admits to Deleting Sponsored Posts for Smaller Brands on Instagram
Now on July 5, Starting House finally issued an official statement regarding the ongoing controversy. Unlike their initial statement, Noze and Starting House admit to deleting the sponsored posts for smaller brands and failing to uphold their contract in uploading and keeping the post within the agreed time frame.
Starting House admits to their negligence and insufficient communication with Noze, and apologizes for the inconvenience and disappointment they have caused to Noze, fans, and the advertising officials.
Read Starting House's statement below:
"Hello, this is Starting House.
We would like to inform you about our position on the upload of advertisement posts for our artist Noze.
Firstly, before our artist uploads an advertisement post on social media, we check the contract period and uploading schedule, then relay it to the artist, and then upload it through the artist's social media. We mentioned that the upload and the removal of posts were carried out after consultation between the company and the artist.
However, during the process mentioned above, and due to our negligence, we couldn't keep the contract period as promised in advance with the advertising officials, and we acknowledge that the said post couldn't be uploaded nor deleted within the time frame due to our insufficient communication with the artist. As a result, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience and [causing] disappointment to the advertising officials and fans who support our artist Noze.
The company and the artist are aware of the seriousness of this matter and are reflecting on it. We will do our best to prevent this from happening again in the future, and we will do our best to maintain a smooth communication with the related parties and artists involved.
Thank you."
