On July 6, Lee Chanhyuk took to his Instagram account to announce that he had created his YouTube channel. He made a post containing a snippet of his first video, and wrote in the caption, "@leechanhyukvideo I created YouTube [channel]. The title of the first video is 'A Night Drive with Lee Chan Hyuk (20 minutes).' Thank you."

In the short clip that he uploaded to Instagram, the AKMU member can be seen sitting expressionlessly at the back seat of an open car that is heading somewhere. Like what it says in the title, you can expect the singer enjoying a night drive, with just the street lights and the car's light that changes colors helping viewers see the idol.

Many would probably expect that this scene is just a few of what there is to expect in Lee Chanhyuk's first video on his YouTube channel, but it is the only thing viewers can see. For the 20-minute video, AKMU Lee Chanhyuk just sits in the car wearing sunglasses and headphones- which fans and netizens find hilarious.

The video doesn't even have background music. Instead, only the rustling wind can be heard.

Although there is nothing much to expect in his first Youtube video, the "NAKKA" singer raises expectations for his future content.

On June 24, AKMU Lee Chanhyuk released a song, titled "Free Smile," which he recorded along with Lee Hyori. This track will serve as the 10th original soundtrack of TVING's reality show "Seoul Check-In."

"Seoul Check-In" follows singer Lee Hyori and her travels in Seoul, as well as the people she meets. Lee currently resides in Jeju Island with her husband Lee Sang Soon.

On June 25 at 9 a.m. KST, "Free Smile" reached a new peak on Bugs and Genie, climbing up to No. 5 and No. 40, respectively.

Meanwhile, AKMU has not announced when their next comeback is, as of this writing. The duo's last return was in July of last year when they dropped their second EP, "Next Episode." This mini-album features their highly-awaited title track/collaboration with IU, called "NAKKA."

"NAKKA" was well-received in South Korea, debuting at No. 3 on the Gaon Digital Chart for the week ending on July 31. The song rose to No. 1 the following week, becoming AKMU's seventh No. 1 hit in the country.
