Amid her brand discrimination controversy, dancer Noze issues a handwritten letter containing her apology. This also comes after she was seen in tears during the "SWF" concert. Keep on reading to know more.
Noze Apologizes for Brand Discrimination Controversy With Handwritten Letter
At the beginning of July, Noze, who gained popularity after competing on the Mnet dance competition program "Street Woman Fighter" and as a backup dancer for EXO Kai, became embroiled in a controversy after it was revealed that she discriminated against smaller brands for her sponsorships.
She had reportedly received up to ₩50 million won (around $38,000 USD) per Instagram post from her endorsement deals and sponsorships from small to mid-size companies. However, Noze did not upload the sponsored posts on the agreed date. When she did, she would delete the posts soon after and keep the posts from larger companies on her social media.
Since then, the dancer has been receiving criticism from netizens for failing to uphold her end of the endorsement contracts. Her agency Starting House also admitted to their faults after initially denying it, citing negligence and poor communication as the cause for the issue.

Now on July 11, Noze took to her Instagram account to belatedly issue a handwritten apology regarding the issue.
In her apology letter, Noze wrote:
"Hello, this is Noze.
First of all, I apologize for bringing this up so late. I was cautious about how I should convey my apologies to those who may have been disappointed by my immature actions recently. Therefore, I would like to apologize again for my actions that have caused others great disappointment.
I sincerely apologize for causing damage and disappointment to the people involved, and I have no excuses. I should have acted responsibly as much as I received love from many people, yet I was unable to do so. I am deeply reflecting on my failure to do so, and I realized that I still have a lot to learn.
My immature attitude caused inconveniences to the [brand] officials involved, and I disappointed fans who cared for and loved me. I know that no words can undo my past mistakes, so I will do my best to reflect deeply and show you an improved version of myself rather than asking for immediate forgiveness.
I will not forget my current determination, and I will work hard to show you a more mature image and humble attitude in the future.
Thank you and I apologize again."
Noze's Apology Garners Mixed Reactions
Following Noze's handwritten apology, netizens have mixed reactions to her letter. While plenty of netizens have forgiven Noze for her actions, many have called out that the dancer's apology came too late.
Some comments from netizens read:
"Everyone makes mistakes. That is how we learn dear Noze. We still support you."
"This is the type of apology that people hate."
"Actually, I still can't wrap my head around why she acted the way she did. As someone who enjoyed watching 'SWF,' I really hope she doesn't repeat this kind of mistake and shows us a reversal. Seriously though, she should have released this earlier... What a shame."
"The money that you got through power-tripping..."
"No matter what, we will always support you."
"I feel like this is a bit too late."
"It will be alright, Noze. Let's do our best."
"She has too many fangirls now. She will get away with it without a scratch."
