On July 12, several photos of Red Velvet Wendy captured by Korean media outlets were shared on multiple popular online communities, Instiz and the qoo. The pictures show the "Feel My Rhythm" songstress heading toward the SBS building to host her radio program "Wendy's Youngstreet."
That day marked a special celebration as it is the first anniversary of "Wendy's Youngstreet." The female idol became the new DJ of the SBS radio show "Youngstreet" on July 12 of last year, replacing DJ Kim Young Chul.

In one of the images shared, Red Velvet Wendy can be seen carrying an open box. It turns out that the box was filled with rice cakes, as a few media outlets and netizens posted pictures of the rice cake they received from the singer.
To repay her for her kind deed and also congratulate her on the first anniversary of "Wendy's Youngstreet," local reporters gifted Wendy with a cake. The idol even took the time to blow the candle and pose for the camera before entering the SBS building.

In the post's comments section, netizens commended the Red Velvet member for her sweet gesture toward ReVeluvs and reporters. A few of the comments are as follows:

Red Velvet's Latest Comeback With "The ReVe Festival 2022- Feel My Rhythm"
In other news, Wendy returned to the music scene this past March, together with her fellow Red Velvet members. The girl group dropped their new mini-album "The ReVe Festival 2022- Feel My Rhythm," marking their first group comeback in almost a year since "Queendom" arrived in August 2021.

As of April 2022, Red Velvet's "The ReVe Festival 2022" has sold 653,610 copies on the Circle Chart, becoming the group's best-selling album of their career to date. In addition, it has been certified double platinum for reaching 500,000 shipments in South Korea.
