Apink CHOBOM Worries "Copycat" Might Be Their First and Last Album
On July 12, Apink CHOBOM made their debut with their first single album, "Copycat," which features the title song of the same name. CHOBOM comprises Chorong and Bomi and is the girl group's first subunit in 11 years since their debut in 2011.
On July 28, the duo appeared as guests in episode 8 of "Yongjin's Health Center."
When asked to introduce their new song, Apink Chorong said, "It's called 'Copycat.' It's a word that came from a baby cat following its mother. We tried to use that word in a way that we want to resemble someone we love."

"You know how people want to follow everything their lovers do," she continued. "That's what we wanted to talk about in our song."
Apink CHOBOM later performed the chorus of "Copycat," and LACHICA's Gabee commented that the main point of the choreography is the hand movements that imitate a cat.
Afterward, Chorong and Bomi revealed their personal concerns and received pieces of advice from the "Yongjin's Health Center" hosts.
First, Apink Bomi confessed that she suffers from anxiety and became timid in entertainment shows after hearing criticism about her not doing well in her previous TV program appearances.

Lee Yongjin and LACHICA Gabee then advised her not to blame herself if she didn't perform well on an entertainment show. Instead, she should blame other things.
About Apink Chorong's concern, she thinks of having a pet and is wondering if she should bring it to her scheduled activities.
LACHICA Gabee responded, "If you want to raise a pet, you need a determination to bring the pet with you to the schedule."

Toward the end of the episode, Apink CHOBOM was asked if they have a concern as a team- and that's when the duo confessed that they're worried "Copycat" might be their first and last album as a subunit.
Chorong elaborated, "We contemplated if we should be all in this album or leave some behind for the next album."
LACHICA Gabee replied, "This is very easy. You should be all in. Include everything literally." She explained, "You are not sure you will succeed even if you put everything in, but I was never successful when I left some behind."
Lee Yongjin commented, "I want to congratulate you guys for forming some kind of new brand, but I am wondering why you guys want not to continue?" He added, "I think you guys should continue instead of doing it just once."
In response, Apink Chorong encouraged them to listen to "Copycat," and the two hosts simultaneously said, "Of course!"
