On July 30 local time, TXT took the stage at Lollapalooza 2022 in Chicago, making history as the first K-pop group to perform at the well-known American music festival.

The five-member South Korean boy group performed eight songs (from their various albums) throughout their set. In particular, they sang two of their several latest tracks, "Good Boy Gone Bad" and "Thursday's Child Has Far to Go," which are both from their newest album, "minisode 2: Thursday's Child."

Their setlist also included "FROST," "Anti Romantic," "Magic," "LOSER=LOVER," and "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)." American artist Iann Dior even joined the quintet on stage to perform their collaboration song "Valley of Lies."

While all five members shined on stage, one particular member caught the locals' attention, immediately being called "the blue hair guy" on social media as people started searching about him.

The member in question is Yeonjun, who stirred quite a reaction with his splendid performance, charisma, bright blue hair, and toned muscles in a sleeveless shirt.

In fact, there were numerous tweets mentioning him as the guy with "blue hair," and the number of tweets increased further after the American rock band Wallows shared a photo with TXT.

Naturally, Yeonjun trended on Twitter after TXT's Lollapalooza 2022 appearance, with more than 122,000 tweets.

The K-pop idol's rise in popularity was also evident in the significant growth of his Instagram followers. One netizen recently revealed the number of new people who followed the singer.

In the post, the netizen pointed out that TXT Yeonjun usually gains around 100,000 new followers from overseas in four to five days, but after Lollapalooza, he garnerd 100,000 new followers in one day.

"A lot of people were asking who was the blue hair guy. He's daebak," the netizen wrote.

Under the post, one netizen commented that it had been only a week since Yeonjun hit 10 million followers, and now he has gained 160,000 more.

TXT Makes History Anew on Billboard 200

The group's latest mini-album "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" placed 138th on the top 200 U.S. album chart, marking its 11th consecutive week on the tally.

With this, TXT has become only the second K-pop act in history- following BTS- to have several albums chart for 11 weeks each on Billboard 200. Apart from "minisode 2: Thursday's Child," their 2021 album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" also lasted 11 weeks on the tally and spent 13 weeks.
