3rd Gen K-pop Girl Groups That Sold Over 200,000 Album Copies in 1st Week of Release
BLACKPINK
With YG Entertainment's girl group leading the list, BLACKPINK's "The Album" and "How You Like That" special edition albums both sold more than 200,000 album copies during the first week of release.
"The Album" has almost 690,000 copies sold and "How You "Like That" special edition album selling just above the 200,000 mark. It is not a shock that the famous girl group sold that much.
TWICE
Next is JYP Entertainment's TWICE!
The girl group has four albums that surpassed the 200,000 mark, with the highest being "More and More."
Following that are "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" with more than 318,000 copies, their 10th mini-album "Taste of Love" with more than 277,500 copies, and their 2nd full album "Eyes wide open" selling more than 245,600 copies worldwide.
Red Velvet

Of course, this list is not complete without the SM Entertainment girl group, Red Velvet!
Red Velvet's mini-album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" sold more than 443,900 copies. Following that is their 6th mini-album "Queendom" with almost 208,000 copies sold.
4th Gen Girl Groups That Sold More Than 200,000 Album Copies in 1st Week of Release
aespa
aespa's latest, "Girls," sold more than a million, while "Savage" sold 276,000 album copies.
ITZY
Next on the list is JYPE's ITZY. Like their senior group, they also have more than two albums on the list.

One is their latest release "CHECKMATE" selling more than 472,300 copies. Next is their 1st full album "CRAZY IN LOVE" selling more than 259,700 copies.
Lastly, their 4th mini-album "GUESS WHO", which is just above the 200,000 mark.
IZ*ONE
MNET's project girl group IZ*ONE also has three albums that sold more than 200,000 copies: their 3rd mini-album "Oneiric Diary" with more than 389,300 copies, their 1st full album "BLOOM*IZ" with more than 356,300 copies, and their 4th mini-album "One-reeler / Act IV" with almost 356,000 copies sold.
IVE
IVE's 2nd single "LOVE DIVE" sold around 339,000 copies.
The group is about to release their summer single "After Like" on August 22 at 6PM KST.
LE SSERAFIM
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM sold more than 300,000 copies of their 1st mini-album, "'FEARLESS."
From six, LE SSERAFIM reduced to a quintet after Kim Garam departed from the group due to bullying controversy.
Kep1er
Kep1er has two albums with more than 200,000 copies sold.
Their 2nd mini-album "DOUBLAST" sold more than 287,100 copies and their 1st mini-album "FIRST IMPACT" sold more than 206,500 copies
NMIXX
Coming in 10th place is JYP Entertainment's rookie girl group NMIXX. Their debut album "AD MARE" sold more than 227,300 copies.
STAYC
STAYC's 3rd single album "WE NEED LOVE" is also included in the list. It has sold over 201,000 album copies.
