IVE Jang Wonyoung Accused of Double Eyelid Surgery
On August 21, Sojang uploaded a video, titled, "[IVE Jang Wonyoung] Side effects of double eyelid surgery... Her greed ruined her pretty face." The YouTuber provided evidence of the female idol's allegedly cosmetic surgery.

He noted that following IZ*ONE's disbandment, Jang Wonyoung took a short break from the public eye. She returned in May with endorsement deals with Innisfree and Chaumet. People suspected that she had undergone cosmetic surgery following her new pictorials for the brands.
Namely, people believed she underwent double eyelid surgery and lip fillers. While some were unhappy with her new appearance, many claimed that her face was still swollen due to the procedures and that she would grow into her face.

However, people notice that Jang Wonyoung's double eyelid line looks thick, with some saying it resembles sausages.
When Jang Wonyoung debuted with IVE, she often wore heavy make-up for her promotional appearances. People now believe it was done to hide the effects of her "failed" surgery.

Her thick eyelashes helped obscure her think double eyelid line. Additionally, the eye line is less noticeable on stage due to the lighting.
However, as she appears more in public with natural light, the flash photography only shows off her eye line more.

People also pointed out that in selfies in which she winks, such as her photos for "Music Bank," the scar and double eyelid are incredibly noticeable.
How are People Reacting to Jang Wonyoung's Alleged Double Eyelid Surgery?
Many are unhappy with the surgery. During her time on "Produce 48" and IZ*ONE, Jang Wonyoung did not have a thick eye line and had natural double eyelids.
