THESE 2 BTS Members Ranked #1 Among Korean Stars Who Bought Gifts for Their Families
On the Sept. 8 episode of KBS 2TV's "Entertainment Company Live," the ranking of Korean stars who gave their families a big gift was one of the topics- and among them are two BTS members.
In particular, Jin and Jungkook both took the No. 1 spot!
The "Entertainment Company Live" revealed that in 2019, BTS Jungkook bought a residential and commercial apartment complex in Yongsan for 2.9 billion won (2,107,022 USD). The apartment complex was later given as a gift to his older brother, Jeon Junghyun.
The latest transaction price for the apartment complex is nearly four billion won (2,906,237 USD).

As for BTS Jin, "Entertainment Company Live" stated that he purchased an apartment located in Hannam-dong in 2018 for 4.2 billon won (3,051,549 USD) in joint name with his parents. He then transferred his remaining shares, 3%, to his parents the following year.
The current market price for that apartment is said to be 5.4 billion won (almost 3,924,590 USD).
The apartment that BTS Jungkook bought and gave to his older brother was first reported in September 2021. The report stated that the "Yet to Come" singer originally purchased the apartment in July 2019. When he received the bequeathment of the apartment, he registered it as his current lodgings on his official papers.

It was also said that BTS Jungkook handed over the ownership of his Yongsan City Park apartment to his older brother in December 2020. The apartment, which is on the 17th floor, features a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
The apartment in Yongsan City Park is the male idol's second purchase. His first one was in July 2018 and it was an apartment at the Seoul Forest Trimage in Sungsu-dong. The unit, which is also on the 17th floor, cost 1.95 billion won back then. In October 2020, the singer sold it for 2.05 billion won.

The purchase of BTS Jin's apartment in Hannam-dong or Hannam The Hill, one of the most expensive apartment complexes in Seoul, was also initially reported in January 2020. It was stated that the apartment is 206.21 square meters. Hannam The Hill is known for its high security and numerous top-notch amenities, such as a swimming pool, golf area, fitness center, sauna, event hall, and club house.
Meanwhile, BTS is slated to release the Collector's Edition of their "Proof" album on Sept. 28.
BTS' 'Proof' Spends Another Week on Billboard World Albums Chart
In other news, BTS' "Proof" once again secured a spot on the Billboard World Albums Chart.
For the week ending on Sept. 10, "Proof" placed second on the World Albums chart in its 12th consecutive week on the tally.
In addition to that, BTS' anthology album also came in at No. 72 on this week's Billboard 200, marking its 12th consecutive week on the chart.
BTS' "Proof" also made it to the latest Billboard Japan Download Albums chart for the week of Aug. 29 to Sept. 4. It has now spent 13 weeks on the list.
