BLACKPINK has made history once again on the Circle Chart with their second full album "BORN PINK"! Keep reading to find out what the girl group achieved this time.

BLACKPINK's "BORN PINK" Is the First Album by Female K-pop Act to Score THIS on Circle Chart

On Sept. 22, Circle Chart updated its website to reveal the best-selling albums for the week of Sept. 11 to 17. "BORN PINK" ranked first with a whopping total of 2,141,281 copies. Those numbers made BLACKPINK the first K-pop girl group in history to become a double-million seller.

Now, according to the latest Circle Weekly Album Chart updated on Sept. 30, BLACKPINK's "BORN PINK" climbed down to No. 3 with a total of 242,962 copies sold from Sept 18 to 24. This particular chart ranks albums based on album distribution volume (shipments - returns).

Their highest daily sales figure was recorded on Thursday (Sept. 22), having a total of 283,661 copies. It can be seen that sales overseas are bigger than domestic sales.

Additionally, BLACKPINK's "BORN PINK" is the only K-pop album that sold more than half a million copies during the tracking week. (Following them at No. 2 is NCT 127's "2 Baddies," which sold 368,520 copies).

Meanwhile, the album's title track "Shut Down" and pre-release single "Pink Venom" also stayed strong on different Circle weekly charts. "Shut Down" rose to No. 1 on the Global K-pop Chart, while "Pink Venom" stayed strong at No. 2.

On the Digital Chart, "Shut Down" ranked third on the Digital Chart with over 26 million points, followed by "Pink Venom" at No. 4 with over 25 million points.
