EXO Suho Dating Rumor With an Apink Member
Back in 2012, when EXO was still a rookie group, the group's leader, Suho, was linked to an Apink member after two fans of the said girl group saw them looking close backstage of MBC's Gayo Daejeon. This Apink member is none other than Park Chorong, who is also the leader of her own group.
In a post of one fan, they said that they went in the front row to get a better look at Apink, who was about to perform. They added that when Apink was called, the members made their way to the stage, but they noticed a boy group member in the backstage area near the stairs where Apink came from.

The fan remarked that they weren't able to recognize him but they think it was a member from EXO-K. They then admitted that they weren't sure since they don't know much about the group.
The fan further said that after Apink's performance, the members made a short speech. And while doing so, the boy group member was still near the stairs and seemed to be waiting. Then, when Apink got off the stage, the male K-pop idol bowed to all of them.
Chorong was the last one to descend the stairs, and the fan claimed that the male artist presumed to be EXO Suho talked to her.

In a different post, another Apink fan asserted that EXO Suho and Apink Chorong talked and laughed together as if they were really close backstage of MBC's 2012 Gayo Daejeon. They continued that the male idol talked to Chorong after waiting for Apink (to come down the stairs) and held her arm afterward.
Since then, many fans have been shipping Suho and Chorong. They even made the couple name "SuRong" (Suho + Chorong).
EXO Suho's dating rumor with Apink Chorong continued until 2014. The two had an interaction on the Dec. 7 episode of SBS's "Inkigayo." At that time, the EXO member was one of the hosts of the show and Apink was promoting their comeback song "LUV."
When Apink was announced as the winner, Chorong was asked to give a speech and before she could speak, Suho said, "Please don't cry." Eunji can be seen laughing after hearing what the EXO member stated.

Other than that, Suho was personally the one who handed Chorong the trophy when Apink won again on SBS's "Inkigayo" on Dec. 14, 2014. It was his last day as the host of the show.
Not only on music shows, but Suho and Chorong were once spotted standing or sitting near each other on MBC's Idol Star Athletic Championship (ISAC). Despite not talking to each other, their fans already felt content seeing the two idols having a narrow space in between.
The last public interaction between Suho and Chorong was in Vietnam, where Apink and EXO had a joint concert with other K-pop groups. A press conference was held before the concert was held, and it was attended by all participating groups.
At one moment, Chorong gazed at Suho who was talking. The adorable interaction made their fans delighted and wished that the two leaders would somehow end up together in reality.
Even until 2019, some fans were still wondering whether EXO Suho and Apink Chorong were dating as they saw some of their Instagram posts that appear like they were roaming around Italy together.
Although the two leaders have been rumored to be dating for a long time, their respective agencies did not release an official statement to confirm nor deny the speculations.
EXO Suho's Ideal Type
Meanwhile, regarding EXO Suho's ideal type, he prefers someone who has a great interest in literature.
Suho is known to be one of the brainy K-pop idols, so he might be looking for someone who has the same brain wavelength as him. He also likes a lady who has long, straight hair and who can complement him.
