Sunmi has made history following the conclusion of her 2022 "GOOD GIRL GONE MAD" tour. Read on to find out what her new achievement is.
Sunmi Makes History After Completing Her 'GOOD GIRL GONE MAD' Tour
This past June, Sunmi announced her plans for her 2022 tour "GOOD GIRL GONE MAD." This is the first time in three years since the soloist's first world tour "Warning" in 2019.
The title of the tour carries the meaning of further solidifying the character and color of Sunmi. It also lies in all the songs included in the idol's setlist.
On Aug. 14, Sunmi's "GOOD GIRL GONE MAD" tour officially began, and featured concerts in 16 different cities in 10 countries. The tour was divided into three legs: Europe, North America & Canada, and Asia.

In Europe, the "Gashina" singer performed in Warsaw (Poland), Madrid (Spain), Offenbach am Main (Germany), London (United Kingdom), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Paris (France), and Helsinki (Finland).
In North America, the shows were held in Chicago, New York City, Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Francisco, while in Canada, the concerts took place in Toronto and Vancouver.
Sunmi's "GOOD GIRL GONE MAD" tour then wrapped up in Seoul, South Korea at the Yes24 Live Hall on Oct. 8.
Now that Sunmi's 2022 world tour has ended, she has become the first female K-pop soloist in history to hold and complete two world tours. Notably, she is also the first female K-pop soloist to embark on a world tour.

Throughout her tour, Sunmi not only sang her mega hit songs "Siren," "Noir," "pporappippam," "24 Hours," "Heart Burn," etc., but also played a bass guitar for the first time since Wonder Girls' activities.
For starters, Sunmi played the bass guitar when Wonder Girls transformed into a band for their 2015 comeback with "Reboot."
Another main highlight of Sunmi's "GOOD GIRL GONE MAD" tour is that the K-pop soloist customized her attire for each country. For a concert in Madrid, Spain, she wore a red tango outfit, and in Paris, France, she sported a lingerie outfit with flamboyant feathers in a Moulin Rouge style.
In addition, during her "Heart Burn" stage, large fans were used to promote the traditional culture of Korea to the world.

During the last concert of her 2022 world tour held at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul, Sunmi said, "I feel so happy and overwhelmed to meet fans after three years. During this world tour, I was physically exhausted as I was leading the stage by myself. It has been 16 years since my debut and 10 years since my solo career started, and I think I was able to come this far because of the fans."
She added, "As I wrap up this second world tour, I have already dreamed of a third world tour. Thank you to the fans who made this dream come true, and I want to continue walking together with you on the same path to becoming more mature musically and personally in the future."
