NewJeans Haerin's Picture Used as Phone Wallpaper by THIS Chinese Male Idol
On Oct. 29, a Korean netizen created a post on the popular online forum TheQoo and titled it, "China's Current Trendiest Male Idol TNT's Liu Yao Wen Seen With a Picture of NewJeans' Haerin on His Phone Wallpaper."
The post includes a gif showing the Chinese male idol holding a phone and a tissue, seeming like he's wiping off something from the device.
There's also a photo giving a closer look at the phone in his hand, and it can be seen that the wallpaper appears like a girl in a prone position as she hugs a blue pillow.
Although the picture doesn't reveal the identity of the female, the girl is believed to be NewJeans' Haerin as the image looks exactly similar to the one that was uploaded to the application Phoning on July 29 (see picture below).

For starters, Phoning is an app where people can get to know more of NewJeans. Fans can share their lives with the rookie girl group through LIVEs, messages, photos, and calendars. It was launched ahead of their debut.
The TheQoo post quickly garnered the attention of thousands of netizens in the online community, and has now surpassed 90,000 views. Apart from TheQoo, the phone wallpaper of TNT Liu Yao Wen is also a hot topic on the Chinese platform Weibo. Even Haerin is trending.

However, according to this Weibo post, fans clarified that the mobile phone Liu Yao Wen was holding does not belong to him and shared a photo of what is really the phone wallpaper of the Chinese male idol (see image below).
Meanwhile, in the comments section of the TheQoo post, most of the netizens say that Liu is just a fanboy of NewJeans Haerin and not "dating" her since the chances of them meeting is "low."

NewJeans Reportedly Making Their First Comeback in December
In other news, NewJeans was reported to be making their very first comeback in December on the 18th. Korean media outlet SPOTV News stated that the rookie girl group would return with a new album in that month.

In response, HYBE sub-label ADOR said, "We will make an announcement once NewJeans' comeback schedule has been set in stone."
NewJeans made their debut on July 21 with a surprise drop of the music video for "Attention." They later released their self-titled debut EP, which features two new songs "Hype Boy" and "Cookie."
