On January 12, NewJeans' label ADOR Entertainment released an official statement explaining the girls' situation in the U.S.
The agency elaborated how the group's schedules for Friday, January 13 will be canceled, due to flight delays.
In a press release on July 28, ADOR stated that more than 440,000 pre-orders for the NewJeans album "NewJeans" had been placed.

The debut EP was able to reach that remarkable number in just three days.
With this incredible amount, NewJeans has set the mark for the most pre-orders for a debut album. It also surpassed aespa's "Savage," which received 401,000 pre-orders in October 2021.
