Former Trainee Choi Tae Eun Reveals Training With Red Velvet, EXO
On January 29, Choi Tae Eun, a popular contestant from TVing "Love Catcher in Bali" Season 4, confessed she dreamt of becoming a singer and trained under SM Entertainment in the past.

Just then, one fan asked:
"Where did you go to college and major?"
Choi Tae Eun then surprised everyone when she replied:
"I became an SM trainee at the age of 19 and did not go to college. Debut is important, college doesn't matter."
According to the former idol, she went in through an audition, and she became an SM trainer from the age of 19 to 21.
When a netizen asked:
"Did you become a trainee with aespa?"
Tae Eun answered:
"I don't know about aespa, but (I did it with) Red Velvet (and) EXO."
With this, Choi Tae Eun indirectly implied that she almost debuted in Red Velvet!
