Brown Eyed Soul Naul Reveals Impression of SNSD Taeyeon After Working With Idol
Naul, a member of the South Korean R&B group Brown Eyed Soul, is drawing attention after mentioning Girls' Generation Taeyeon.
In the recent episode of MelOn Station's "Diggin' On Air" led by Naul and composer Ecobridge, the former praised the K-pop idol.
Taeyeon, who debuted in 2007, recently worked with Naul, who debuted in 2003. She specifically worked with the latter's "Ballad Pop City" project.
In this regard, when Ecobridge asked Naul:
"It's your project, but others sang it, how was it?"
Naul replied:
"I think I learned a lot. I felt that everyone is 'Only One'. Everyone has their own color. I thought they were irreplaceable."
When asked what it's like working with Taeyeon, the singer-producer can't help himself but praise the artist's outstanding vocals.
"I recently came back from Taeyeon's recording, and I felt it again, 'Ah, this is an irreplaceable voice."
He also lauded the singer's humble and kind personality despite her status in the music scene.
"I think I'm learning something again even after I'm over 40 years old. It was the first time we properly greeted each other, but she was really nice. I was really surprised. I've never seen such a good friend before.
She's really polite, she's respectful, and tried to adjust her mood to match the other person. These are all things I could feel from her.
In her position, there will be a lot of people who will be arrogant. But Taeyeon doesn't look like that at all. She's so nice, so it puts me in a good mood."
Naul continued:
"At first, I noticed that she was very nervous, but it got better quickly. She was originally good that's why she sang so well."
