On February 6, Singles Korea released photos of Wendy, featuring her in elegant clothing alongside dazzling visuals. Wendy also took her time answering interview questions.

In the first topic, she discussed details on GOT The Beat's latest comeback, "Stamp On It." Wendy shared they were relieved since GOT The Beat has now published a mini-album, compared to their previous single "Step Back." She conveyed how the sub-unit's identity is imprinted through "Stamp On It."

Aside from the album's uniqueness, Wendy also explained the intention of its B-side tracks. The vocalist stated the B-sides are all about cultivating trust to oneself, as well as upholding confidence. She also acknowledged the support fans and staff offer to her self-esteem.

The vocalist mentioned how grateful she is to fans when they wait for her in the booth, leading Wendy to prioritize showing up regardless of harsh weather conditions.

"GOT The Beat's first mini album was released. It was a pity that only one song was released last time, 'Step Back', but through this album, we will show the identity of GOT The Beat. What's interesting about this album is that each song has different members that stand out."

"In fact, I am not the type with very high self-esteem or full of confidence. But the fans and staff bring it forward. Their affection and praises make me stronger."

"I'm grateful to fans who still believe in and support us. I'm also amazed that wonderful and talented juniors continue to debut."

"In 'Young Street,' the fans there wait for me to appear for 30 minutes to an hour. Every second is precious because the time I can spend for them is less than five minutes."

Red Velvet Wendy Teases New Music Aimed For Spring

During the interview, Wendy also hinted a potential comeback as soloist. According to the idol, the year 2022 was a time for learning new things. Wendy also shared that instead of staying the same way as before, she hopes to become more mature this 2023.

Wendy mentioned that this spring on 2023, she will prepare to offer ReVeluvs new music with her warm voice, just like the season itself.

She also revealed that Red Velvet is now in their 10th year of promoting as a group, and her devotion to work harder. Wendy wrapped up by being grateful to ReVeluvs, as well as assuring herself on a good note.

"2022 was a year for me to learn more. I was motivated to develop further, as I met numerous artists while hosting a radio show. This year, I want to become a smarter and more mature me."

"I often hear that my voice goes well with spring season. So, in the coming spring, I am preparing to approach fans with a warm, bright voice, just like the season."

"I hope juniors could see me the same way 10 years from now, just as I was inspired by my seniors. I don't want it to be drastically better than it is now. It's also my lifelong dream to be consistent, like flowing water."
