Kakao Entertainment has officially partnered up with Columbia Records, in order to flourish their artists' influence and reach, starting with rookie monster group IVE.

On March 24, Kakao Entertainment dropped some big news for the K-pop community, confirming their partnership with Columbia Records.
In another note, Columbia Records is also a subsidiary of Sony Music. Starship Entertainment's girl group IVE will have the honor of receiving the first global management under the partnership.
Columbia Records will be supporting the promotions of IVE's upcoming first full-length album "I've IVE," which is slated for April 10, together with their pre-release song "Kitsch" on March 27. The group will receive support in terms of local marketing and global music distribution.
The head of Kakao Entertainment America, Joseph Jang, expressed his excitement with IVE's international venture with Columbia Records. It was also reported that Kakao is aiming to boost their other artists' influence overseas as well.

Joseph Jang followed up that the company is looking forward to increasing Kakao Entertainment's music business.

IVE Receives Love Calls From Advertising, Broadcasting Industries Due to High Demand
IVE is a fourth-generation K-pop girl group, who debuted on December 1, 2021 under Starship Entertainment.
Despite their fresh entry on the K-pop industry, the girls have already won their first music show award, seven days after their debut and marking them as the fastest girl group to achieve the feat.
Following this, just after 22 days since their debut, Korean media outlets revealed that IVE has been in high demand within the advertising and broadcasting industries. These results were derived from the information collected by Good Data Corporation, which analyzes the most popular, trending, and buzz-worthy groups.
On the list, IVE ranked on No. 4, becoming the group with the most buzz, due to their appearance on "Weekly Idol." Furthermore, member Jang Wonyoung also ranked No. 1 as the most popular idol, because of her appearance in "Radio Star."
With their skyrocketing fame, IVE's reputation is expected to go higher with their upcoming spring comeback.
