While "Super Show 9" was filled with memories of ELF and Super Junior, the fandom was heartbroken after seeing this idol at the group's concert.

Super Junior showed off their power as "Hallyu Kings after a successful encore concert!

But this is not the scene that broke the heart of fans but when Kangin himself tried to catch less attention by turning off his Super Junior lightstick and wearing his hoodie to hide his face. It was noticeable how the former idol also slightly crouched his back, seemingly ashamed to be seen by other fans.

ELFs were particularly heartbroken that Kangin has to do all of these in order to avoid creating misunderstandings that will potentially harm Super Junior.

As a brief context, Kangin's departure isn't exactly a good memory to fans as the idol was embroiled in various scandals before that which affected the group's image.

Kangin not had only two assault controversies but multiple DUI and hit-and-run cases as well. Initially, some fans were defending him, but after repeat offenses, part of the fandom turned their backs on him which also led to his withdrawal from the group.

On the flip side, fans were warmed by the sight of how Super Junior and Kangin protected each other in their own ways; by not introducing Kangin and by hiding from fans.
