aespa's New Album 'MY WORLD' Surpasses 1 Million Copies On First Day

On May 8, at 6 p.m. KST, aespa made their highly anticipated comeback with title track "Spicy," alongside its album "MY WORLD."

On May 8, SM Entertainment announced that aespa's "MY WORLD" has earned over 1.8 million stock pre-orders, which surpassed their own record with "Girls," which gathered 1.61 million stock pre-orders.

They've also become the second K-pop girl group in history to achieve the highest pre-order count, bested by BLACKPINK, who collected 2 million stock pre-orders for "BORN PINK."
