Are second-gen idol fans ready for the return of the OG K-pop heartthrobs? From June to July, these 4 popular male groups will once again showcase their unrelenting high-quality music and performance amid the influx of new-gen artists' releases!
Here Are 4 Second-Gen Groups Who Will Come Back in June to July – Which Group Are You Anticipating the Most?
1. INFINITE - June 9
The "Kings of Synchronization" are back!
After four years of hiatus, INFINITE, who left Woollim Entertainment one by one from 2019 to 2022, will finally return to the K-pop scene!
In May, it was reported that the group recently established INFINITE Company dedicated solely to the sextet's activities and promotions. The label is led by leader Kim Sung Kyu, who was also the one who transferred the rights for the group's name trademarks, fandom name, and concert titles from Woollim to their new label.
On June 9, the group will have a reunion for their 13th debut anniversary and will hold a live party with Inspirits (fandom).
Upon opening their new official social media platforms, there's a high expectation that they will release a new song after its last release, "Clock," in 2019.
Meanwhile, INFINITE was reorganized from a seven-member group to a six-member group after Hoya left in 2017.
2. SHINee - June 26
The "Princes of K-pop" also embark on their much-awaited comeback after two years and two months!
On June 1, SM Entertainment announced that SHINee heralds its 8th full-length album "HARD" to be unveiled on June 26.
As this is the first time that they will make new music since their seventh full-length repackage "Atlantis," released in April 2021, Shawols are showing high anticipation already.

Aside from an upcoming album, SHINee is also preparing for its solo Korean concert, "SHINee World VI - PERFECT ILLUMINATION," to be held in KSPO Dome from June 23 to 25. This will be their first offline concert in the country after 6 years.
3. U-KISS - June 28
One of the most popular boy groups from second-gen, U-KISS will once again meet fans as they celebrate their 15th debut anniversary with a new album!
On June 28, the group will release a new mini-album, "PLAY LIST," which will mark their first full comeback in five years and six months since the digital single, "Ready For U," was released in 2017.
Following their comeback, the group plans to have solo concerts in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan in July.
Meanwhile, prior to the full group comeback, U-KISS started their promotion by dropping a series of solo songs by Hoon and Soohyun.
U-KISS initially debuted with six members (Alexander, Soohyun, Kibum, Eli, Kevin, and Dongho), but recruitment and withdrawal of members were repeated along the way, and now there are three members left: Soohyun, Kiseop and Hoon.
4. TEEN TOP - July
Last but not least, Teen Top also confirmed their full comeback in July to mark the 13th anniversary of their debut!
It is the first time in about three years that Teen Top's album will be released since their special album "To You 2020," released in 2020. Although the group's leader C.A.P left the team in May, their comeback is going smoothly.
On May 30, Teen Top appeared on the online channel "Dingo Music" as a whole and drew massive attention as they sang their iconic hits, "Clap," Supa Luv," "Miss Right," "Missing," "Missing You," "Crazy," "Ah-Ah," "Rocking" and "No more perfume on you."
