An official from Jennie's agency, YG Entertainment, affirmed to Star News on the 12th, "Jennie has not received any offers to appear in the Marvel series 'Team Agent of Atlas,' effectively refuting the rumors of her involvement with Marvel.

YG Entertainment Rejects Marvel Studios' Offer for Jennie

MCU Arabic News has recently claimed that the agency representing BLACKPINK's Jennie has rejected an offer from Marvel Studios for the idol to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.


In a surprising turn of events, an MCU Arabic News "Insider" took to Twitter to share that it was actually YG Entertainment who declined Marvel Studios' offer for BLACKPINK's Jennie. According to this insider, discussions between Marvel Studios and YG Entertainment had been ongoing since September 2021, exploring the possibility of casting Jennie in an upcoming MCU project.


The source revealed, "Marvel Studios has been engaging in discussions with YG Entertainment since September 2021. YG Entertainment remained silent on the matter until April 29, when they finally responded. Their statement hinted at Jennie's packed schedule, explaining that she couldn't commit to more than one project at a time due to her demanding workload."

Furthermore, the source disclosed that Marvel Studios had expressed interest in Jennie appearing in the 'Agents of Atlas' series as well as future 'Avengers' films.

Amidst the speculation surrounding Jennie's potential involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans can currently enjoy her on-screen presence in the HBO series 'The Idol.'

In the drama, Jennie takes on the role of Dyanne, a backup dancer, showcasing her versatility and talent as an actress.
