FIFTY FIFTY's Agency Statement
The following is the full text of Attrakt entry.
"Hello, the Attrakt will inform you.
First of all, we would like to express our immense gratitude to our domestic and overseas fans for their unstinting support to our artists over the past few months.
We know that there are many fans who are worried and wonder why our artists are not active at a time when they should be in full swing. In fact, one of the members developed a medical condition, and we discussed it with the member himself and his family, and with the consent of both parties, we proceeded with the treatment according to the doctor's order, and the operation was performed on May 2nd.
Following the doctor's diagnosis that they needed a recovery period of more than 1 month, or at most 2 months, the artists stopped their activities and decided that their health was the most important thing, so they also gave the other members a break.
During this time, we have been fully prepared to significantly expand and improve our existing systems to better support our artists. Our basic policy is to pursue the long-term growth and development of our artists rather than focusing on immediate interests. However, in the midst of all this hard preparation, we are seeing external forces approaching our artists and enticing them to violate their exclusive contracts. These external forces, through accusations of slander against us and the glorification of insults against them, are committing illegal acts to induce our artists to make a mistake and sign a contract with them in disregard of a valid exclusive contract.
Such an act by an outside force is an act of trampling on the pure love of fans, which can greatly damage the image and future possibilities of artists who have only been debuting for 7 months, and by extension, it can have a serious adverse effect on K-pop as a whole.Although we started as a small company, we had a dream more than anyone else, and despite the difficult financial situation, we have written a new history of K-pop through adversity, and even at this moment, we are writing a new history in progress, and fans not only in Korea but also around the world are cheering for this. While we are outraged by the illegal actions of impure external forces who are trying to rob us of this tremendous miracle of a small and powerless agency, we will respond calmly and decisively and fight to the end without any compromise against these external forces to hold them accountable.
Remembering the words of Chungmugong that if you want to die, you will surely live, and if you want to live, you will surely die, and we will fight back with desperate determination, and we will repay the support of our fans who give us unstinting love by protecting our artists who have become valuable talents in Korea and making more efforts for their development.
I appreciate it."
Fans and followers of FIFTY FIFTY are encouraged to stay updated for further announcements and developments regarding the group's activities and the member's recovery progress.
