Former Stellar member Jeonyul has come forward with a revelation regarding her experience filming explicit scenes during her time as an idol.

In a YouTube video released on August 29, Jeonyul shared details about her current employment at a jewelry store, where she works from 10 AM to 10 PM and earns ₩10,000 KRW (approximately $7.58 USD) per hour.

Despite her former prominence as an idol, customers often fail to recognize her due to Stellar's distinctive image. Upon learning about her background, they express surprise at her transition from idol life to her current role.

Shedding Light on a Dark Past: Jeonyul's Candid Confession about Explicit Scenes During Idol Days

During the video, Jeonyul disclosed that her involvement in the controversial music video for Stellar's hit track "Marionette" was marked by unintended naiveté. At the time of the video's release, she was only 20 years old and unaware of the suggestive nature of certain scenes.

She recounted how a fellow member brought her attention to the provocative implications within the video's comments, particularly in reference to the infamous milk-spilling scene.

Jeonyul candidly admitted, "I didn't know the scenes were so racy. After the music video was released, a member asked me if I had read the comments and asked me if I knew what the milk scene was suggesting.

I learned what it meant after reading the comments. At the time, because I was so young, I thought they gave me the least controversial scenes, but they gave me the sexiest ones."

"Marionette" garnered significant attention upon its release, largely due to the alluring outfits worn by the members and the video's overall sensual theme. Jeonyul's scene, in which she pours milk onto her body while clad in underwear, added to the controversy surrounding the music video.

Despite the controversies, Jeonyul acknowledged that "Marionette" played a pivotal role in propelling Stellar to stardom. Prior to the song's release, the group's performances were limited to smaller events outside Seoul and military bases.

However, the song's popularity led to a surge in college performance requests and substantially increased their visibility.

Stellar debuted in 2011 and enjoyed a period of popularity before disbanding in 2018. Since then, Jeonyul has continued her music career, recently releasing a new single titled "Like It."
