BTS V Breaks Silence on Personal Battles, Hints at Mind-Blowing Min Hee Jin Collaboration

BTS V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, recently made a candid revelation about his past struggles and aspirations during an appearance on the September 6th episode of tvN's "You Quiz on the Block."

The globally-renowned K-pop sensation opened up about the challenges he faced as a member of BTS, and his forthcoming collaboration with acclaimed producer Min Hee Jin.

BTS V Opens Up on Struggle Beneath the Spotlight

BTS V's introduction on the show was made by Yoo Jae Suk, who highlighted the group's incredible achievements over the years, including their recent chart-topping success on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Dynamite."

As BTS celebrated their 10-year anniversary, V reflected on the early days of their career. He reminisced about their debut period when they explored various content types, including behind-the-scenes YouTube videos.

These initiatives, according to V, were pioneering in the industry at the time.

He also shared their first performance in the United States, which ignited their determination to perform abroad due to the positive response from local fans.

During the interview, V revealed a significant turning point in his career. He confessed:

"I started to feel numb when we performed on stage or received awards. No matter how big the awards were, I could no longer feel the happiness and preciousness of it as well as my initial motivation. I realized, 'It can't be like this. It's a big problem.' I needed to try something new."

BTS V's pursuit of something new eventually led to the creation of the popular BTS show, "RUN BTS." He explained that the show allowed the group to rekindle their enthusiasm for performing and rediscover their happiness in the process.

The conversation shifted to V's upcoming solo album, and the involvement of Min Hee Jin as a producer. V expressed his admiration for the album "Pink Tape" by f(x), which Min Hee Jin had worked on. He recalled:

"I really liked the album 'Pink Tape' by f(x) that was released a long time ago."

V's honest and introspective conversation shed light on the challenges faced by one of the world's biggest K-pop stars and his determination to evolve as an artist. His collaboration with Min Hee Jin adds another exciting dimension to his ever-evolving musical journey.
