Both Kim Jihoon and Hwang Jihwan, who share their birth year with BTS's RM and J-Hope, spent a considerable amount of time training at BIGHIT MUSIC, establishing close bonds with the members of BTS before their meteoric rise to stardom.

During a recent interview with Korea Now, Kim Jihoon and Hwang Jihwan reminisced about their time as trainees, offering valuable insights into the BTS members' real-life characters.

When questioned about how BTS has evolved from their trainee days, Kim Jihoon noted that, despite their fame, the members remain essentially the same, albeit "less wild" than before.

Kim Jihoon shared anecdotes from their youth, recalling instances when trainees competed to grab an extra piece of chicken faster than their peers. Notably, they adhered to a hierarchy, reserving chicken legs for the older trainees, while the younger ones settled for chicken breast.

Hwang Jihwan reminisced about Suga's quieter nature during their trainee days, highlighting his role as a mentor in the realm of music.

According to Hwang, RM consistently exhibited wisdom beyond his years. He revealed that extensive conversations with RM left him with the impression of a remarkably mature individual.

The former trainees also affectionately described V and Jungkook as "adorable" young students who occasionally engaged in friendly squabbles over trivial matters.

J-Hope resembled a close friend, while RM exuded a natural leadership quality even back then.Both Kim Jihoon and Hwang Jihwan concurred that the BTS members' present-day personas align closely with their genuine selves as trainees.

Nevertheless, they noted that with time and maturity, the members have likely become more grounded versions of themselves, retaining the core of their authentic personalities that captivate fans worldwide.
