Despite the wholesome post, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Gaeul was missing an arm in one of their photos. DIVEs then concluded that the bizarre occurrence was the fault of excessive editing by the group's agency, Starship Entertainment.

The photo then sparked a discussion in online communities. On the same day (October 8), netizens flocked to a post titled, "Starship that brought shame on IVE today too."
The comments section was filled with perplexed viewers, who were stunned by the photo's odd nature and why it got edited severely. Read their comments below:

Meanwhile, some netizens initially suggested that it may just have been Gaeul's fast movement, leading it to become a visual blur. However, the body part was too faded to fit such speculation, given how clear its background was.
Some guessed that Starship Entertainment allegedly edited each of the members' individual photos together. They also cited the inconsistencies of the members' body parts, where placement, cropping, and spacing were all out of place.
