The 2024 SM artists' season's greetings were finally unveiled! Ahead of its pre-order, Pink Bloods (SM stans) expressed curiosity on why SNSD, SHINee, and EXO were excluded from the announcement.

SM Entertainment Releases Artists' Season's Greetings for 2024 + Groups Included
On October 23, SM Entertainment took the veil off its artists' season's greetings.
Through its respective artists' official SNS, it was announced that TVXQ, Super Junior, Red Velvet, NCT Dream, NCT 127, WayV, aespa, and RIIZE will be having a pre-order of their SG 2024 starting on October 24.
Pink Bloods (SM fans) can order their copies through various online markets including the company's official store.
On this day, SM then unveiled the various concepts of the SG for each artist. In the preview, the inclusions for each group's season's greetings package were released, which vary according to the team's theme.
The company also teased the concept of the SGs by revealing the A4 posters from the package, featuring the solo members' shots.
SNSD, SHINee, EXO Excluded from SM's Season's Greetings Announcement
As soon as the fans saw the announcement, they expressed their excitement and asked for details about the pre-order. They also couldn't hide their admiration for their favorite artists' visuals, which truly stood out in the teaser poster.
However, some fandoms were frustrated after their favorite groups' were excluded from the announcement. These are SONEs (Girls' Generation fans), Shawols (SHINee) and EXO-Ls/Eris (EXO).
Immediately after these fans showed their disappointment, SM took to the groups' social media platforms to inform Shawols and SONEs that both groups' season's greetings would be delayed and pre-orders would happen in November. It also hinted at the team's concept to ease the fans' frustration.
SM explained:
"Please understand that it will be carried out as a separate schedule due to the artist's schedule."
As both groups are currently working on their solo activities, SM pointed out the difficulties of matching the artists' schedules and films for the SG content. Both fandoms were understanding and agreed to wait for further announcements.
However, Eris was not in a good mood after SM didn't release any update about EXO's SG. Due to this, some fans are worried that the group won't have their 2024 season's greetings at all.
The fandom speculated that since a lot of members including Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin were planning to leave SM next year not to mention D.O. already departing from the company, it will be a hard time to release a 2024 SG. Kai is also serving in the military, thus, only a few members can actually be in the season's greetings.
Regardless of this, Eris was enraged since EXO is still part of SM Entertainment and not releasing any SG is unfair to both the artists and its fans. They pointed out that it is a basic courtesy to treat them well and with respect regardless of their discord with the other members.

Based on SM's statements they were so adamant that EXO grp activities will remain under SM entertainment. That being said SM is still responsible for EXO which is why I don't understand why they're being left out. Other groups got a SG greeting announcement, why not EXO?

I'm not hoping for the worst but sm not clearing things up until now, hours since the other groups released their previews & statements makes me think that EXO did not participate for this year's SG or they aren't finished yet, or they are still finalizing their plans, who knows
