Xiaojun has received the bad end of the online community for his remarks towards Kun, which many fans deemed as fat-shaming.
Here's what happened.
WayV Xiaojun Receives Negative Reactions for 'Fat-Shaming' Comments to Kun
On November 7, NCT sub-unit WayV uploaded their reaction video to their newest comeback song "On My Youth."
The official music video for "On My Youth" was released on November 1, exciting many WayZenNis (WayV's fandom). With social media being a useful asset in promotions, WayV decided to make a reaction video for the MV and give fans additional content.
However, at the 5:52 mark, Kun pointed out a scene where he was shown lying down on the floor, followed by his members looking down on him. Hendery then joked that Kun fell down, and this was immediately trailed by Xiaojun, who commented, "must've been too heavy."

The fat and old remarks must be stopped. I know kun is upset deep inside everytime they say them. I need kun and wayv fanbase to step up https://t.co/b4r1r4m1v8

i really don’t understand why xiaojun or the rest of wayv act like they’ll die if they don’t get the opportunity to crack a weight joke towards kun’s direction, but for the fiftyeleven time these types of “jokes” are not funny and were never funny to begin with. https://t.co/Tf9B3XdItk pic.twitter.com/uHgfKaAWlz

i dont understand why they constantly bring it up, even though he clearly gets uncomfortable with these remarks. 😐 “it’s all in the culture” no respectfully Kun is better than me bc if this were me i’d call them all out bc it’s not funny https://t.co/WNsiVWwTAG

Fans remarked that even though they are close friends who normally tease each other, making jokes about something Kun struggled with will never be acceptable. Meanwhile, others sent positive messages to Kun in his Bubble app.

It’s kind of upsetting, the way Kun verbalized in front of the other members that he would like to be cared for, yet hurtful comments are still directed his way. He loves, supports and cares for the grp with all of his heart. Who will love, support and care for him

If you have bbl, pls send Kun a kind and supportive message. Tell him he is amazing, his talent is top tier, he has a beautiful body, he is appreciated so very much. Send him all of your love today and every day
