On January 20, the idol appeared as a guest on JTBC's "Knowing Bros," along with Bora and Hyolyn of SISTAR19.

The 2nd-gen idols drew attention for releasing their new albums this month, with Kyuhyun unveiling his album, "Restart," on the 9th, while the duo dropped their digital single, "No More (Ma Boy), on the 16th.

On this day, Heechul introduced Kyuhyun as a former SM Entertainment artist and the latter shared his recent situation after moving from SM Entertainment to Antenna.

In particular, the singer revealed that he only signed a group activities contract with SM for Super Junior, but he decided to start anew as a soloist under the label, Antenna.

Immediately, the hosts asked why he left SM for Antenna and Kyuhyun replied:

"(There are rumors that I received tons of transfer money from Antenna), but didn't get paid at all. I've been there (SM) for 18 years. If I sign another contract, I'll be in my 40s. But I wanted to take on more challenges at the end of my 30s."

Regarding the best thing about transferring labels, he then replied:

"I haven't filmed a lot of ads so far, but I'm suddenly getting ads. I'm so happy."

He also gave the difference between SM and Antenna, adding:

"Antenna is small, so there is an atmosphere where everyone works together to do something, whereas SM has all the infrastructure in place, so the system was good because everything is done in a neat and orderly manner, but everyone does not work together as one.”

He then clarified:

"I wasn't kicked out, but gave me a grace period."

However, he couldn't hide his frustration when he was asked to pay parking lot during his practice for Super Junior's activities.

"After moving to Antenna, I went to SM to practice for Super Junior, and they told me to pay for parking separately. But I'm still Super Junior!"

Nevertheless, he claimed:

"I still love SM. After leaving the dorm, I went to rent across the street from the former SM headquarters."
