The case revolving between Jang Wonyoung, Starship Entertainment, and Sojang, has been updated after the YouTuber had done THIS to fight back.
Here are the details.
IVE Jang Wonyoung vs Sojang: Controversial YouTuber Reportedly Makes Plea to Fight Court's Ruling
The case has been updated with a new development.
Earlier on January 17, Starship Entertainment announced Wonyoung's victory in her case against Sojang. The agency revealed that ever since November 2022, various legal procedures have been implemented in civil, criminal, and overseas.
Sources stated that the 210th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of the plaintiffs of 100 million KRW ($74.5K USD), which were filed by Starship Entertainment and Wonyoung against Sojang (Park Joo Ah) for damages.
On January 24, Korean news outlets reported that Sojang had filed an injunction to stop the court's execution of the ruling. The plea was made on January 23, according to Star News.
It then disclosed how in most cases, the decision of the court wouldn't be executed if an appeal was filed by the defendant within the 2-week period. On the other hand, plaintiffs can still implement the ruling should court judges warrant a provisional execution.
