ITZY Yuna Talks About the Difficulties of Standing Out in the K-Pop Industry

On February 1, 2024, the latest episode of the YouTube web show "Afterparty Star" was posted. This episode featured Yuna of ITZY, who flaunted her sweet charm.

During the video, Yuna was asked by Jang Do Yeon if she takes care of her diet.

In response, Yuna replied that she does. She stated, "Our clothes are always so tight, and they always close up on our face..."

The female idol then spoke about how difficult it is to stand out in the K-pop industry. She noted that nowadays, all idols are pretty, so they need to have an extra factor for people to actually pay attention to them.

Yuna stated, "Nowadays, everyone is so pretty. You have to be considerably prettier for people to look at you one more time."

The idol then spoke about her appearance on "Radio Star," saying she wanted to become cool on the program. Yuna revealed she started feeling that way the moment she met Lee Hyo Ri.

She said, "I felt it the moment I met Lee Hyori. There is a reason why Lee Hyo Ri is a sunbae (senior)..."

Her adorable comment caused Jang Do Yeon to laugh, replying, "Yuna must have seen her and thought, 'I want to become like this person!'"
