"The White Lotus" depicts the events at the luxurious hotel White Lotus and the stories of its guests. While Seasons 1 and 2 were highly popular, details about the new season, except for the fact that it will follow a whole new cast, currently remain under wraps.

Lisa will make her acting debut with her birth name, Lalisa Manoban. However, her role in the series has yet to be revealed.

However, it's been announced that "The White Lotus" Season 3 will be filmed in several locations in Thailand, including Phuket, Koh Samui, and Bangkok. This has led to intense interest in Lisa's role in the series, as she hails from Thailand.

Will BLACKPINK Lisa Succeed in Acting More than Jennie's 'The Idol'?

Following the establishment of her solo entertainment company, LLOUD, Lisa is expanding her personal endeavors by debuting as an actress in "The White Lotus" season 3.

On the official LLOUD company website, Lisa expressed her vision for showcasing herself in the music and entertainment industry, inviting others to join her enjoyable journey of exploring new boundaries.

Her venture into acting alongside her solo music activities marks Lisa's exploration of new territory beyond the identity of being an idol. She is the third member of BLACKPINK overall to debut as an actress, and the second to have a Hollywood debut after Jennie.

Previously, in 2023, Jennie debuted as an actress in the HBO drama "The Idol." Coincidentally, both BLACKPINK members chose to star in HBO series for their debut projects.

Jennie's debut in "The Idol" received criticism, with criticisms against the excessive exposure and scenes that involved high levels of intimacy. Many thought such scenes were cringeworthy, and lead actor The Weeknd received flak for his poor acting skills.

Because of this, the series suffered low viewership ratings, leading to the show's early cancellation after just one season.

Amid disappointment over Jennie's acting debut, BLINKs are now focused on Lisa's upcoming acting debut. Many are anticipating the unconventional moves of the BLACKPINK members as they navigate their solo activities without YG Entertainment.
